In his liquor licensing practice, Ryan Anderson provides advice and counsel concerning a full range of issues related to the manufacture, importation, distribution, and sale of spirituous liquors within the state of Arizona. Ryan has represented all types of clients in all facets of issues relating to the regulation of spirituous liquors include producers, wholesalers/distributors, importers and retailers, including national chains and local grocery stores, convenience markets, drug stores, restaurants, bars, hotels, management companies, homeowner associations, golf courses, and fraternal organizations.
After nearly twenty years of practicing primarily in the area of civil litigation, Jake has re-focused his practice on liquor licensing and compliance over the past several years. Jake now leads Burch & Cracchiolo’s liquor licensing and compliance department. In that role, Jake handles all manner of issues concerning compliance with Arizona’s liquor laws, including obtaining licenses for retailers, distributors and producers; auditing liquor practices for compliance with local, state, and federal requirements; responding to allegations of non-compliance, defending liquor violation complaints before the Department of Liquor, including appeals to the Superior Court and Court of Appeals; and the sale of quota licenses.
