Burch & Cracchiolo is a Local First Arizona Legacy Partner
Local First Arizona (LFA) is a nonprofit organization that celebrates locally owned businesses. They support, promote and advocate for a strong local business community and they raise public awareness of the economic and cultural benefits provided by strong local economies. Local businesses contribute to a sustainable economy for Arizona and builds vibrant communities we are all proud to call home.
In 2019, B&C joined LFA to form a strategic partnership to engage and support local business owners and their staff in developing business partnerships to encourage success in their desire to be profitable as well as be good community citizens. B&C attorneys have extensive experience in the business sector and are available to counsel business owners and assist in their legal needs when setting up and operating a business. B&C is a 49 year old locally owned law firm and we have always been a fierce advocate for our local community so it is a perfect collaboration.
Founded in 2003, Kimber Lanning along with Cindy Dach of Changing Hands Bookstore and Michael Monti of Monti’s La Casa Vieja began meeting to formulate a strategy to level the playing field for locally owned businesses, and to find a better way to link the locals together. They called businesses from the phone book asking them to join their cause. Soon enough, there were several hundred member businesses affiliated with Local First Arizona. Kimber emerged as the Executive Director of Local First Arizona in late 2005, when Local First Arizona also achieved its nonprofit status. A board of directors was formed with several local business owners.
In 2009, Kimber secured nonprofit status for Local First Arizona's sister organization, the Local First Arizona Foundation. Since then, the organization has grown exponentially. Today LFA has 3,500 members and only continues to grow. B&C is proud to be a LFA member.
