(August 7, 2015…..Phoenix, AZ) The law firm of Burch & Cracchiolo today announced that shareholder Wendi A. Sorensen has been named one of the 2015 “Most Influential Women in Arizona” by Arizona Business Magazine.
Sorensen has been certified by the State Bar of Arizona as a specialist in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death law due to her nearly three decades of litigation experience for both insurance companies and plaintiffs in state and federal court. Her practice focuses on aggravated liability and damages matters, including Federal Motor Carrier (trucking accident) cases, vehicular products liability matters, construction site injury and death matters, and premises liability cases. She has been recognized among Arizona's Finest Lawyers and currently serves as a member of the Arizona State Bar committee responsible for conferring certification status in the area of Personal Injury and Wrongful Death law. In addition, Sorensen is co-chair of the Personal Injury section for the Maricopa County Bar Association.
Prior to joining Burch & Cracchiolo, Sorensen served as Chief Trial Attorney and Major Case Counsel for one of the largest commercial insurance carriers in the world. Sorensen received her B.S. in business/economics from Westminster College in 1981 and her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 1984. She is licensed to practice law in Arizona and California.
