Published at azbigmedia.com Most Influential Women: Jennifer Delgado
BACKGROUND: Jennifer Delgado is a partner at Burch & Cracchiolo, P.A., and practices law in the areas of business and real estate transactions. She received her J.D. from Boston College, and her B.A. in political science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Delgado is a board member of ACLU of Arizona, and serves on the Business Advisory Council of Local First Arizona. She is currently training to run the New York City Marathon in November.
SOURCE OF PRIDE: “I really enjoy helping people reach their own goals, whether it be opening a new business, buying investment property or closing on a loan. Just knowing that I helped my client in a positive way during that process makes my job totally worth it to me.”
SURPRISING FACT: “My family lived in Russia while I attended college and law school (in Massachusetts), so I would spend my summer and winter holidays in Moscow. I have a lot of great memories of being there, like getting to experience the opening of the first McDonalds in Russia!”
SOURCE OF INSPIRATION: “Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been, and continues to be, a source of inspiration to me. In my opinion, she is the epitome of working hard and achieving monumental goals, not only in her own life and career, but in the lives and careers of all American women. My family recently visited her gravesite at Arlington in Washington D.C., and it was a very powerful experience for me to be able to share with my kids the importance of her life and work.”

Inspiration can come in many forms. Even fictional when it comes to the Most Influential Women in Arizona Business for 2022.
“The woman leader who inspired me is Kathryn Janeway, the first female captain lead in a ‘Star Trek’ series, and played by Kate Mulgrew,” says Heather Skinner, vice president of global real estate at JP Morgan Chase and one of AZRE magazine’s Most Influential Women in Commercial Real Estate for 2022. “Captain Janeway is an authentic leader who isn’t afraid to make the hard decisions necessary to complete her mission: navigating the Delta Quadrant and safely bringing her crew home.”
While Captain Janeway seeks out new life and new civilizations, the television industry will be well represented when the Most Influential Women in Arizona Business and the Most Influential Women in Commercial Real Estate for 2022 are honored at an awards ceremony Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix. In addition to Skinner, former “Divorce Court” Judge Lynn Toler and longtime Channel 12 anchor Lin Sue Flood will be among this year’s honorees, which includes the state’s most impactful healthcare innovators, attorneys, educators and financial services executives.
While Captain Janeway boldly went where no woman had gone before, there are other trailblazers who inspired the Most Influential Women of 2022 to reach for the skies.
“I’m most inspired by Ruth Bader Ginsburg who has left such an immeasurable impact on our country, society and the advancement of women’s equality,” says Rachel M. Bond, MD, system director for the Women’s Heart Health Program at Dignity Health. “She is an icon who, despite being one of nine women in her Harvard law class and only the second woman to be appointed to the Supreme Court, persevered in the fight for equality.”
The Most Influential Women of 2022 were chosen from a field of more than 1,500 women under consideration. They were selected by an editorial board that consists of 12 former Most Influential Women. They will be honored at a recognition dinner Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix. Tickets are on sale now. Tables and sponsorship packages are available.
